Alex passed peacefully on 11th May 2026, aged 83 years.
Devoted Husband of Brenda, much loved Dad of Grant and Gavin, dear Father-in-law of Jan, treasured Grandad of Robyn and her Husband Marc, Oliver and his Fiancée Erin, special Great-Grandad of Mason, Grace and Roman, A dear Brother-in-law to Brian and Marjorie, and dear Uncle to all the family. Alex will be deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
Funeral service to take place at Saltwell Crematorium on Friday 29th May at 2:30pm.
Family flowers only please, donations if desired on the day to Parkinson's UK. A donation box will be available at the Crematorium.
Following the service, all are invited to Gateshead Rugby Club, Eastwood Gardens, Low Fell, to continue sharing memories.
